MAP MEDIA Presents: The GREEN Project (Music, Social Responsibility and the Environment)
The GREEN Project:
M.A.P Media has launched its corporate social responsibility project titled “The GREEN Project”. The GREEN Project is a musical album by M.A.P Media artists produced as the contribution of M.A.P Media to the general wellbeing of its community and the globe as a whole. This album is an album of hope, a reiteration of the possible better future for all mankind. M.A.P Media wishes to promote the album to all ends of the earth where every soul that listens to it is rejuvenated with hope and a reason to give more to life and looks forward to creating a better future for all by the inspiration emanated within the songs in the album.
The GREEN Project album features M.A.P Media’s artistes Yole, Meknims and Luchi, and contains four tracks whose central message revolves around the theme of reviving the spirit of hope amongst the listeners. While each track is unique and fresh, the same theme is woven into all the tracks on the album. The album is unique and innovative; it is not conceived of, produced or being marketed for profit making or fame but as M.A.P Media’s way of giving back to the society we live in.
Objective: In our present world where we are faced with diverse and ever increasing number of challenges, people have very good reasons to be hopeless. Many people prefer our current decadent state of the world to the unknown future which is often thought of with fear and trepidation as many forecasters hardly see the light of a better future. As an organization, we seek to revive the hope for a better future amongst mankind.
Specifically, we seek to:
a. Discourage the messages of doom, despair and fear that are emanating from the conventional media and entertainment industry.
b. Substitute this with, and actively promote the dissemination of positive messages of hope, determination and a better future for mankind.
c. Create platforms for collaborations between organizations and individuals interested in promotion of the messages of a better future in
Nigeria at first and subsequently across the world.
d. Identify and project potential models and ambassadors for a better
future.

Music: Bez – Supersun Remix feat. Eldee, Eva, Iceprince

After a long period of 
barely concealed anticipation, fans of Nigeria’s rising Alternative Soul artiste; Bez  Idakula  can 
finally heave a huge  sigh of relief as the bespectacled, whiz-on strings musician has concluded arrangements for his album release this summer. The hugely anticipated Super 
Sun album, a career debut from the incredibly talented artiste is set to be officially released in July 2011.
The 13 track album which was entirely produced by the enigmatic Cobhams Asuquo, with the exception of one track produced by IBK, captures the rare and un-distilled essence of Bez. He experiments with new  upbeat and groovy sounds, drawing from fresh acoustic influences as he  takes the listener  on a journey of self discovery, love and inspiration. 
Featuring hits such as ‘Zuciya Daya’ – (One Heart), ‘More You’ ‘Stop Pretending’ and the self titled ‘Super Sun,’ listeners get the feel of an artiste who gently fuses an understated and unusual hybrid of soul, jazz, R&B and Hip-Hop music that sets him well apart from the main stream Afro-hip-hop movement.
According to a statement from the artiste’s  record  label and management team, CAMP (Cobhams Asuquo Music Productions); ‘The Super Sun career debut from Bez is an album that the world needs to listen to. The vocal prowess and verbal dexterity of the artiste, exquisite musical arrangement and superb production are elements which would ensure that this album is a keep-sake.’

Video: Dipo – Be You Man

Dipo: Born Oladipupo Olugbode in the early 80s, His Love and Passion for singing started way back when he was in Junior Secondary at Mayflower School Ikenne,Ogun State. Strongly influenced by Boys II Men,he started appreciating the art of Music and went further to write songs and perform at school  social gatherings.

He joined the school choir at Covenant University where he graduated from Accounting. He was singled out to perform a number of solo performances at social nights and special occassions like fashion shows.

In 2007,Dipo was one of the 12 final contestants in the music reality t.v show called”Nokia First Chance” and went on to perform at the Nigerian Music Awards dinner. He joined the Banking Sector  in 2008 but still continued with his music. Being a ‘Banker by Day,Singer by Night’,he released his first single “summertime” in Dec 2009 and the song was on Inspiration FM top ten for about 8 weeks. He opened up for Asa at the “ASA on the green”Concert in january 2010 performing alongside Bez and Ibiyemi.

His musical influences include Marvin Gaye, Seal, John Legend, R.Kelly, Dwele, Anthony Hamilton, Fela, Asa, 2face, Maxwell, D’angelo.

Dipo is signed as an artiste under Cackland Music and is being Managed by “Rouge Management”. Video was shot by Toka Mcbaror  in Kaduna
