Music : Sound Sultan – Piano

This is one artist that stands out from the rest. He has always been a favorite of mine ever since his “craze world” record.
The flow and beat of this record is simply.. well you listen and judge for yourself.
I’ll say this though. I love the message he sends out through this. “He’s my inspiration.. beyond imagination”

Enjoy new sounds.

Music : Papi – I Don Kolo

I must admit I am a skeptic when it comes to rhythm and blues in pidgin although we have a few groups like the Plantashun boiz (or the solo acts after the break up) and the likes of StylPlus who have done a good job of pulling it off.
Here’s a new act by the name of Papi (a name ladies would relate to 🙂 ) who i think has a shot at this “music thing” ..do you agree?

Music : Adol ft Mi – Ghetto Life

Solomon Adewole (Adol), Also known as Ajikoigbaorin literally meaning “One who wakes and writes 200 songs”. Adol decided that singing might in fact be his true calling and in 2000, he became a part of a group called
“Three Souls” and released a single with them called “Awa ara wa”. In 2006, Adol released his first single
called “Lonely.” and ever since has released four other singles including his hit single “Orin” and his monster hit “Ghetto Life” which features M.I (aka Mr Incredible). He is currently working on his first album.

Adol is one artist who I’ve grown to always pay attention to. Listen to any of his work and you’ll know why.
His unique style and distinctive voice is one that anyone into Soul would appreciate.

Video : Lami Feat eLDee – Ere Ife

Its always good to hear a twist in existing sounds. For example the Afrocentric feel in this Pop beat.
New video from rising sensation Lami featuring an artist who needs no introduction and brings his fun ‘flow’ to this upbeat party track,  Eldee. I am going to assume Eldee produced the record but hey.. I could be wrong; although he did direct the video.
Also, I do think the close-ups were a bit over done in the video though. But then again I’m a DJ ..what do I know about videos.. huh?!

Enjoy new sounds.

Music : Sheyman – My Money (Freestyle)

Sheyman aka the king of melody drops this ‘freestyle’ AfroPop style in his native Yoruba dialect. I find it hard to tell the difference between a ‘normal’ record and a freestyle lately. But I am feeling this though.

Enjoy new sounds.
